Living alone in her London flat, 12-year-old Georgie must confront reality when her estranged father, Jason, shows up out of nowhere. Holy Spider (Persian) + Brewery Night

A journalist descends into the dark underbelly of the Iranian holy city of Mashhad as she investigates the serial killings of sex workers by the so-called Spider Killer, who believes he is cleansing the streets of sinners.


16th SEPTEMBER

On the Wandering Path (French)

Famed writer and explorer Pierre suffers a terrible fall that leaves him in a coma. When he wakes up, he struggles to walk. Against everyone’s advice, he decides to explore France on foot, along forgotten pathways.


21st OCTOBER

The Teacher’s Lounge (German) + Brewery Night

Teacher Carla Nowak decides to get involved when one of her students is suspected of theft. Caught between her ideals and the school system, the consequences of her actions threaten to break her.


18th NOVEMBER

Red, White & Brass (NZ)

Tongan superfan Maka will do whatever it takes to get tickets to the Tonga vs. France Rugby World Cup game, even delivering a brass band for the pre-match entertainment. However, the band doesn’t exist and Maka has only four weeks to build one.
